ELAINE SMITH

Thank you Elaine, Harold and Sam for sharing a bit about yourselves each time we met.

Elaine thanks for the beer and your SPECIAL HOSPITALITY a visit that I will remember for the rest of my life.  You confirmed some important points in our Migrant History…especially the part where you add that YOU WERE A MIGRANT TOO!

ARRIVED TO ST. PAUL IN 1943

Two years ago as Elaine was walking into her house with ears of corn on both of her hands I asked her if she had a few minutes.  "Only if you want to have a beer," she replied.

I met with Elaine a few times; the links below plus the video clips are enough to help anyone meet Elaine.

I met Elaine a few years ago when Jesse Villarreal and I were visiting the old camps where we used to live.  For some unknown reason or good luck we always meet Harold Brentano, Sam Smith or Elaine Smith.  We jokingly asked them if they had a video camera; well, Harold lives above the hill and most of the activity can be seen from his house; the house he was born in.  Harold also adds that it was a house that was purchased through a catalog from back east.
